Lot 409 Browning Superposed 'Superlight' 12 Ga #76390S7

Belgium made over and under box-lock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1967, and imported by Browning Arms Company out of St. Louis, MO., and Montreal P.Q. Featuring blued finish, 26 1/2" vent ribbed barrels, modified to accept Briley S-26 thin wall chokes with Mod / Imp Cyl tubes installed, ejectors, ivory bead front sight, ivory mid-bead, single smooth curved inertia trigger, tang mounted serrated sliding barrel selector and safety, and a checkered top lever. The receiver, top lever, sides of the top barrels, and trigger guard display limited coverage floral engravings and edge designs. The matte finished walnut furniture consists of a straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, long lower tang, sliding checkered forend with Deeley latch release, 14" length-of-pull, 1-7/16" drop at comb, 2-1/4" drop at heel, and a KickEez black rubber recoil pad with black spacer. The original blued finish retained is approximately 95% with scattered light scratches, wear the lower tang, and some edge wear. The barrels have small marks on the right side 6 inches from the muzzle that appear to be from impact with a rough surface causing a small ding in the top barrel, not visible in the bore. Furniture wood looks excellent with light scattered dings and scratches. Bores appear excellent/bright but dirty, and the action is smooth with tight lock up and the top lever resting centered.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
